當絲襪化作枷鎖,她必將掙脫。

In this series, the fishnet stocking is no longer just an accessory—it becomes a cage and a symbol of the gendered gaze. Even in professional spaces, women are sexualized and silenced. Here, the subject resists: pulling against the net, refusing to perform, and reclaiming her body. Breakthrough is about rejecting labels and exposing the systems that confine women, turning the image from a cage into a weapon.

在這個系列中,漁網絲襪不再只是配件,而是枷鎖與性別化凝視的符號。即使在專業場域,女性仍被性化與噤聲。作品中的主體拉扯絲襪,拒絕表演,奪回身體的掌控。《破網而生》是一種拒絕——拒絕被標籤、拒絕被簡化,讓影像從牢籠轉化為武器。

In this series, I turn the lens toward a single item: the fishnet stocking. Often seen as soft, sexy, and stylish, it is a symbol loaded with cultural meaning. I ask: Who defines what is "sexy"? Who benefits from that definition? When a woman’s body becomes a public display, every piece of clothing, her skirt, her heels, even her tone of voice, can become a site of judgment.

The fishnet stockings in my imagery are no longer just an accessory. It becomes a shackle, a stage, and a silent language. It symbolizes the gendered gaze that persists, even in professional environments that claim neutrality. Sexual harassment doesn’t only happen in alleyways or at night; it exists in boardrooms, behind office jokes, or in a boss’s lingering glance.

In Breakthrough, I use the body’s gesture as a language of resistance. The subject pulls against the stocking, fights the tension, and reclaims her body. Her face is not made up to be beautiful; it’s tired, angry, and even disinterested. She is done performing. She no longer submits to the camera or the expectations behind it.

This is a refusal: a refusal to be labeled “that kind of woman,” a refusal to be sexualized politely, a refusal to remain silent. It’s not about modesty or covering up—it’s about choice. Can a woman choose how she wants to be seen? Can she choose not to be sexy, but instead be raw, fierce, quiet, or completely unbothered?

The series is deliberately minimalist. The gestures carry the meaning. I wanted to focus on the moment of rupture—the physical resistance, not just the ideological one. I use photography not just to create aesthetic images, but to expose systems we’ve grown used to. I’m not just photographing women’s bodies. I’m documenting how they survive, resist, and refuse to be simplified.

在這個系列中,我將鏡頭聚焦於一個單一物件——漁網絲襪。它常被視為柔軟、性感、時尚的象徵,卻承載了沉重的文化意涵。我想提出問題:誰定義了「性感」?又是誰從這個定義中受益? 當女性的身體成為公共展示時,她的裙子、高跟鞋,甚至聲音的語調,都可能成為被評斷的標的。

在我的影像裡,漁網絲襪不再只是配件,而是枷鎖、舞台、也是一種無聲的語言。它象徵著性別化的凝視,即便在自稱「中立」的專業環境中依然存在。性騷擾並不只發生在夜晚或小巷,它也潛藏於會議室、辦公室的玩笑,或是上司那曖昧而持久的目光裡。

在 《破網而生》 中,我以身體的動作作為抵抗的語言。拍攝對象拉扯絲襪、對抗張力,重新奪回她的身體。她的臉沒有經過美化;它是疲憊的、生氣的,甚至是不屑的。她拒絕再去表演,也不再迎合鏡頭或背後的期待。

這是一種拒絕:拒絕被標籤為「某種女人」;拒絕被「禮貌地」性化;拒絕保持沉默。這並不是關於謙遜或遮掩,而是關於選擇。女性能不能選擇自己如何被看見?能不能選擇不必性感,而是呈現未經打磨、憤怒、安靜,或完全無所謂的自己?

這個系列刻意保持極簡,讓身體的姿態本身承載意義。我關注的是破裂的瞬間——那個不僅是意識上的,更是身體上的抵抗。攝影對我而言不只是創造美學,而是揭露我們早已習慣的系統。我拍攝的不只是女性的身體,而是她們如何生存、抵抗、拒絕被簡化。

《破網而生》 是一次嘗試,把影像從牢籠轉化為武器。
