This work uses a raw chicken as a metaphor for the body, pointing to how women’s bodies are repeatedly consumed and dissected through acts of looking and expectation, until nothing is left.
We are chosen and taken, yet rarely allowed to make decisions about our own bodies. Once the body is placed on the table, control is quietly stripped away.
The shift from metal utensils to disposable ones symbolizes the brief nature of this gaze. Quick to pause, quick to look, quick to take, and quick to discard.
In this process, the body is no longer seen as a whole, but as something meant to be used and consumed.
這件作品以生雞作為身體的隱喻,指向女性身體如何在觀看與期待中被反覆消費、切割,直到一點都不剩。
我們被選擇、被奪取,卻很少被允許為自己的身體做決定。當身體成為被端上桌的對象,自主權也在不知不覺中被拿走。
餐具從金屬轉為免洗用品,象徵人們對女性身體的短暫停留、快速觀看、快速索取、快速丟棄。
在這樣的過程中,身體不再被視為完整的存在,而只是可以被使用、被消耗的物件。
